When you call Eyeland Optometry you'll get our lovely receptionist/office manager Madi! She is your go to girl when you have any inquiries regarding appointments, insurance billing, account information, clinic hours, location & making sure she connects you to the right person for any questions or concerns. If she's not busy greeting all of our valuable clients, she is helping customers with finding their new snazzy pair of frames. Madi is keen on signing you in quickly when you arrive for your appointment & will bill directly to your insurance company to make it more convenient for you.

Our delightful Optometric Assistant Alicia will be the one to perform the preliminary tests, before you see Dr. Roed for your comprehensive eye exam. Her positive mood & always smiling personality completes our team. Alicia's role is very important in helping our doctor get the best results in making sure you are seeing your best.  She provides assistants with an in-depth knowledge of various equipment, procedures and techniques needed to function smoothly and efficiently in an optometric practice. If you want to try contacts for the first time, you'll be seeing Alicia for your training. We have any successes with new contact lens wearers, thanks to her amazing patients and ability to smoothly guide you through every step.

Greg has 10 years experience in the optical field.  He graduated from Nait with a diploma in Optical Sciences and has worked as a licensed optician ever since.  His natural talent in making people feel comfortable and passion for great customer service makes him a leader in his field.  He will assist you in selecting the most optimal  eyewear to meet your specific lifestyle needs.

While away from the office, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, sports(especially the Oilers) and traveling.
